Dress Code:
Friday — Welcome Dinner
Smart Casual
A relaxed evening to kick off the weekend- what you’d wear for a nice night out in Kyoto. While there’s no need for formalwear, we kindly ask that guests choose polished looks (no flip-flops, sportswear, or very casual travel clothes).
Saturday — Wedding Ceremony
Formal Evening Attire
For gentlemen: tuxedos are welcome, though dark suits and ties are perfectly appropriate.
For ladies: long dresses or elevated cocktail dresses.
We look forward to celebrating this special evening with you — surrounded by the beauty of cherry blossoms and the joy of family and friends.
Sunday - Japanese Ceremony and Farewell Lunch
Traditional / Formal Elegant
We warmly encourage guests to wear kimono if they wish — a beautiful way to honor the tradition and setting. (We will provide kimono rental recommendations for those interested.)
For those not wearing kimono: formal, elegant attire in soft or muted tones is appropriate — similar to what one might wear to a formal daytime event in Japan.
You can book a Kimono directly with SEN Kyoto or at your arrival to Kyoto, there are many specialized shops with a wide variety of options.
