Q + A

What language is spoken in Kyoto?

Japanese is the main language, but many hotels, shops, and restaurants offer English service. Apps like Google Translate are very helpful.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unless your significant other was included on your invitation, please assume that we are unable to accommodate additional guests. If one of the individuals named on your invitation is unable to attend, we kindly ask that you do not substitute another guest in their place.

That said, if you have any questions about this or feel unsure, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we are always happy to chat and will do our best where we can!

Do I need to attend all wedding events?

While we would love to have you join us for all the wedding events, we also completely understand if your schedule only permits you to join us for part of the time. Please let us know through the RSVP section if you are unable to attend any of the days, otherwise we will plan to celebrate with you during all the festivities!

Is Kyoto safe?

Yes! Kyoto (and Japan in general) is an extremely safe city with very low crime. Taxis and public transport are reliable and secure, and exploring on foot is a great way to enjoy the city.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know when you RSVP. We will do our best to accomodate to any allergies or dietary needs.

For any other questions please feel free to WhatsApp at any time! We will be more than happy to resolve any inquiry. We will also be sharing final details as we get closer to the date.
